Groundwater flow modelling to assess potential contaminant migration
GEOSS provides services to numerous industries that have the potential to cause contamination. For a site handling hazardous waste and a petroleum manufacturer, GEOSS developed a mass transport model to assist with assessing potential contaminant migration from multiple potential sources. Numerical modeling is a powerful predictive tool for forecasting changes to aquifers. In addition to the numerical modelling, GEOSS designed and implemented a groundwater monitoring program that is ongoing.
