Awards

GEOSS has been named ‘Sustainability Excellence Company of The Year’ by the Dewatering Institute at their Award Winners 2023 gala. The accolade was awarded based on GEOSS’ Hydrogeological Characterisation of the Sand River Catchment as part of the City of Cape Town’s Livable Urban Waterways project. We are grateful to Lukhozi Consulting Engineers and the City of Cape Town for the opportunity to undertake this work, which entailed a hydrogeological characterisation of the Sand River catchment. This included an assessment of how river sites throughout could be improved in terms of their functioning as Livable Urban Waterways from a hydrogeological perspective.
