Groundwater exploration and development for Municipal Supply
GEOSS have undertaken hundreds of water supply projects, catering for both small and large scale groundwater users. For Stellenbosch Municipality, geological characterization and geophysical surveying was undertaken to identify target aquifers for groundwater development to the various towns. Following a program of borehole sitings, exploration drilling, horizontal drilling, production borehole drilling, yield and quality testing, modelling and licensing – groundwater became part of the Stellenbosch Municipal supply.
